The Book of Genesis is the starting point of God’s covenant with His people. This book gives us the historical sketch of the creation, fall, and redemption of the world. Genesis is also a perfect litmus test to gauge whether or not a person fully trusts in the authority, sufficiency, and inerrancy of Scripture. Join me as I walk us through the entire Book of Genesis through a series of expository sermons preached at the Altavista Presbyterian Church.

I begin the new year with a new expository series on the Book of Genesis. In this inaugural sermon, I introduce the book, its author, content, and overarching theme. The whole of Genesis is a narrative display of God’s sovereign grace: the main, great theme running through the first book of the Bible. (January 2, 2022)
