After receiving Abraham's worship and sealing the covenant promise with a meal, the Lord again repeats that Sarah is the intended matriarch of this promised people. He says this within earshot of Sarah, which prompts her to ridicule the promise. Thanks be to God this is not a works righteousness religion!
